Dinner Time, Organized

There is nothing more stressful than dinnertime rushing at you and you realize you have no idea what to make or how to find time to make it.

After over a decade of trying to make dinnertime go more smoothly, we have come up with some systems that work for us.

These systems have proved successful even with our large family.

#1 Plan Ahead

Meal planning, grocery pickup, schedule meals, eat earlier in the evening, and involve your kids.

More information on all that in my Save Dinner Time Ten Minutes At A Time post.

#2 Rotate Types of Food and Cuisines

Mexican, Asian, Italian, Casseroles, Sandwiches, Crock Pot Meals, and Breakfast for Dinner.

#3 Teach Your Kids To Cook

You would be shocked what a ten year old can cook for the entire family for dinner!

#4. Keep it Simple!

The more simple dinner prep is, the more time and energy you have to devote to your family.
